To reinforce their sales team, Toyota Belgium is looking for a Sales Manager with high People Management skills and experience with independent franchise dealers.

Your role: 

  • You develop and execute the yearly strategic private sales action plans of Toyota in relation with the sales director to achieve sales targets in line with Inchcape targets and expand our customer base in a sustainable way.
  • You are the end responsible for the sales (products and services) of Toyota to private customers: set sales goals, track progress and lead the team to achieve and exceed these targets.
  • You are leading and managing a team of 5 regional sales managers to ensure business stability, growth and provide a predictable environment for the business.
  • You are able to detect trends and developments in order to translate them into opportunities for Toyota.
  • Assure continued successful operations through effective management, retention, selection, training, development and motivation of the sales managers.
  • You are the main sales contact point for the dealers and support them in reaching their targets.
  • You are responsible to maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction (dealers and private customers).
  • You work closely with the other departments (marketing, after sales,..) in order to build the best possible solutions for the dealers.

vos atouts

Your profile: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role. Automotive sales knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in working with independent franchise dealers
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French and English
  • Track record of exceeding previous sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing employees
  • Keen attention to detail with a commitment to solving complex problems
  • Outgoing and service oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of inventory control and management
  • Goal oriented self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
