Strategic organisation builder and experienced people manager who shapes the future of the Antwerp MICE sector
As Managing Director, you are the driving force behind the long-term strategy and financial performance of the organisation. Taking full P&L responsibility, you safeguard the financial health and ensure a maximum return on investment for the allocated budgets. You build on the current momentum by prioritizing the structuring of the organisation, implementing clear processes, and inspiring the internal team. Furthermore, you act as the primary local and international ambassador who proudly carries the bureau's successes to the city and its stakeholders, further shaping its vision within the meeting and convention (MICE) industry.
As Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing human and financial resources efficiently within the allocated budgets while meeting the city's KPI’s.
- Coaching, motivating, and guiding the team to perform at their maximum potential, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Maintaining a strong and proactive network of relationships with the financing government, local stakeholders, and various players within the industry.
- Reporting on operations and milestones to the Executive Board.
- Representing ACB with strong communication skills. Expanding the (inter)national network within the highly competitive meeting industry. Simultaneously, you showcase local successes and act as the public face of the organization fostering the local public relations (PR), translating achievements into pride for the city and local stakeholders.
- Leading the day-to-day management and further development of the organisation in line with the long-term strategy, ensuring the implementation of clear procedures, best practices, and an optimal organisational structure.
