Cash and risk management

• Lead all aspects of daily cash and liquidity management for affiliates within the EMEA region, evaluating cash balances and projections to make strategic funding and investment choices.
• Review affiliate capital structures and analyze cash flows and financial metrics to establish borrowing limits and drive optimization in close partnership with local management.
• Monitor global financial trends and market shifts to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and innovative corporate solutions across different markets.
• Evaluate adherence to internal financial policies and collaborate with cross-sector partners to strengthen internal controls and refine treasury processes.

Business partnering

• Partner closely with business units to understand their needs, providing expert advice on investments, debt decisions, foreign currency and sovereign risks, dividend repatriation, and bank account setups.
• Coordinate with legal and tax departments to navigate international financial regulations and restrictions, assessing their impact on existing or potential treasury strategies.
• Interface with local and regional banking partners to monitor their service performance and evaluate new financial products for designated markets.

Project management and optimization

• Provide treasury expertise for value-driven, cross-functional projects, focusing on funding options, hedging impacts, and the banking landscape.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to streamline cash management processes and support regional M&A&D activities.

Education: A Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent financial field.

Expertise: Proven knowledge of the financial world or financial markets. Familiarity with settlement systems and treasury transaction processing is highly preferred.

Mindset: A global mentality, excellent teamwork skills, adaptability, a strong drive to learn, highly motivated, hands-on, and the resilience to perform well under pressure.

Skills: Sharp analytical capabilities, exceptional accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills. Passionate about taking ownership and driving complex financial issues to resolution.

Language: Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
