- Logistics Coordination: Design and implement effective sea and inland shipping solutions for all commercial agreements.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all maritime operations strictly adhere to environmental regulations, international legislation, and internal quality standards.
- Financial Management: Manage transport budgets, negotiate pricing for new and existing shipping routes, and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.
- Process Excellence: Drive operational innovation by identifying opportunities to optimize and automate transport workflows.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal departments and external partners.
- Team Collaboration: Manage the shared logistics mailbox and provide cross-functional support, including assisting with road transport and administrative deal preparation.
- Reporting: Analyze and share business intelligence to enhance team performance, reporting directly to the Head of Transport
kwalificatie
- Experience: You bring over 5 years of experience in an international transport environment, with specific expertise in maritime logistics and waste legislation.
- Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Communication: You are a proactive communicator by nature, comfortable using the telephone as your primary tool to drive results.
- Mindset: You demonstrate strong ownership, an out-of-the-box thinking style, and a growth-oriented approach to challenges.
- Organizational Skills: You are a team player who remains composed under pressure, possessing the ability to manage multiple priorities through excellent planning.
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch and/or English is required, complemented by a good command of French. Additional languages are considered a plus.
- IT Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office and experienced in navigating ERP systems.
