lab technician late shift

As a lab technician, you are responsible for the fast and efficient production of DNA fragments.

Your responsibilities include:

• Synthesis: you build DNA and RNA molecules step by step.
• Processing: once the molecules are built, you detach them from their base and remove impurities and protective layers.
• Purification and measurement: you thoroughly purify the molecules and precisely measure the yield.
• Quality control and finishing: you take samples for quality control, mix the necessary chemicals, and ensure the final product is ready for use.
• Equipment maintenance: you ensure that the equipment functions perfectly by carrying out calibration, maintenance, and cleaning tasks as planned or requested.

*A Bachelor's degree or technical secondary degree (A2) in a chemistry-related field.

*A few years of experience in a laboratory environment is a strong asset.

*A strong interest in and knowledge of chemistry and DNA is a must.

*Excellent computer skills to work with specialized software and applications.

*Good command of English is essential, as this is the primary language in the workplace. Dutch is a plus.

*You are a team player with a strong focus on detail and safety.
