We are looking for a Tax Management Consultant for our client in Brussels.

Full-time.
Start date: ASAP.
End date: 31/12/2024.
You will report to our Group Tax Manager and will be part of the Group Accounting and Tax department.
You will be part of multiple tax operations and your responsibilities will include assistance in group and local tax compliances, the implementation of local and group tax strategies, the enhancement of digitalization in all our tax processes, as well as the assistance on business projects involving tax questions.
Prepare and/or review indirect and direct tax obligations and ensure timely filing (CIT, DTA, WHT, VAT and other indirect taxes).
Provide support in managing the group transfer pricing policy by:
Ensuring compliance with transfer pricing reporting obligations (CbC report, CbC notification, LF, MF, …).
Supporting the optimization and monitoring of transfer pricing policies and rules throughout the group.
TSupport business readiness regarding local and global tax developments (Pillar 2, BEFIT, CBAM, CFC, …) by engaging in tax implementation projects.
Suggest innovative solutions and help execute processes to mitigate tax risks and foster the development of tax automation capabilities.
Monitor tax incentives and organize their internal implementation.
Assist the tax team during tax audits and engage with external advisors for different tax related matters;
Provide general tax advices to the business and other departments, such as accounting, controlling, legal and HR to ensure that tax issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Monitor changes in tax laws and contribute to the assessment of their impact on the organization/business.
Take part in projects and provide input on topics involving tax matters (business transformation, IT developments, process automation, …).
Master’s degree in law and in Tax or Master degree in Economics with strong interest for tax & legal-related questions.
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Big Four or international environment.
Reliable professional, acting with integrity.
Strong analytical skills with critical thinking, capacity to understand complex tax issues and to formulate clear and pragmatic advice to the business.
Good communication and presentational skills (oral and written).
Creative, innovative-thinking, willing to engage with SAP S4/HANA (previous experience is a plus).
Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
Eager to learn about tax in the energy sector, regulated sector contingencies and think out-of-the box based on this very specific environment.
Fluent in French and/or Dutch and English.
