Your main task is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost (manday) constraints. The multitude of projects are in the startup phase, which means that conceptual choices still have to be answered and a lot of business transformation activities will be ongoing during the first phase of the projects. - Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members.
- Align with stakeholders in IT & business management.
- Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases.
- Review and analyze project proposals/ plans and monitor project activities
- Implement project communication plan.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigations.
- Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Discuss and follow up on status by project members and modify project schedules or plans if required
- Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in PPM.
