In three decades, our company has become one of the leading European producers of frozen vegetables, herbs, ingredients and ready-meals. All factories, situated in the best farming areas throughout Europe, are certified state-of-the-art production facilities enabling to sow, grow, harvest, process and pack premium quality products.
Packaging department: We are looking for an operator who will be responsible for a packaging line. A packaging line exits of 7 machines that are connected with each other: multihead-weigher, vertical bagfiller, checkweigher bag, boxmaker & boxfiller, checkweigher box, box-closer, label machine.
Your tasks will consist of the following: adapting line, starting machines, bringing line up to speed, quality control, filling machines with necessary product (bags, glue, label, etc.), solve operational problems, communicating with your colleagues, filling in documents, reporting problems of the production line, etc.
Your goal is to provide quality packaged goods at the right speed in a clean environment.
Production department: We are looking for an operator who will be responsible for a production zone.
Your tasks consist of: managing and controlling the machines in your zone. You will be active in one zone but will be taught all machines in all zones. A few examples of different zones are: pea washing department, blanching department (where all vegetables are blanched in boiling water), freezing tunnel (where all vegetables pass through and become frozen), etc.
You will adapt and set the machine, bring it up to speed, do quality checks, solve operational problems, communicate with colleagues, solve basic technical issues, etc.
Your goal is to transform a basic raw material into a high quality, frozen vegetable product at the right speed in a clean environment.
Experience in a production environment. You also need to have some technical insight.
The most important thing is that you are willing to work. Motivation is key! You need to find a balance between your machine and your input. If you use the machines well, they do all the work for you!! You also need to have eye for detail. You always need to strive for optimal high quality results.
This work is highly dependent on seasons. During calmer seasons you will be helping out in other departments (warehouse, technical, etc.). You need to be open to do this.
