Wonderful Brands (emea.wonderfulpistachios.com) is the European subsidiary of the American ‘The Wonderful Company’. They are the worlds largest producer of pistachio’s almonds and pomegranate juice. They grow, harvest, bottle, package and market their products.

They wish to hire a Logistics Scheduler for their headquarters in Belgium.

In general the Logistics Scheduler is responsible for the planning and the monitoring of the logistics flows of the pistachio’s and almonds in Europe.

The function comprises following tasks:
- support the planning leads in the creation of the short term requirements planning;
- monitor stock levels in the warehouses and act on possible unbalances or short shelf life risks;
- manage transport planning towards the European warehouses repack facilities;
- manage repack/display planning with the 3rd party repack facilities;
- manage the administration of all logistic transactions in the ERP system;
- manage daily contacts with the 3rd party logistic providers and transporters.

The Logistics Scheduler reports to the Customer Service and Planning Manager.

jouw aanbod

- You have a bachelor degree in logistics or customer services;
- A first working experience (min 3yrs) is a must. An experience in logistics is a plus as well as experience in the food industry;
- You have a good knowledge of MS-Office and ERP software;
- You have a good knowledge of the English language. A knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus;
- Requested competences: communication, planning and organization, accuracy, autonomy;
- You are a teamplayer and can function well in a multicultural working environment.
