- Act as a technical expert for the Chemical and Monitoring Solutions P&L in the Food and Beverage Industry supporting the European region, including the sugar, ethanol and chemical applications. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary Product Application team in the region. - Employ engineering and statistical skills to conduct troubleshooting and offer data driven solutions to Food and Beverage industry treatment related problems in industrial facilities in the region. - Support and Perform technical audits and provide treatment recommendations in support of existing applications and new business opportunities. This includes working with the commercial team in responding to RFQ s, optimising treatment programs and troubleshooting systems as submitted and prioritised in Sales Force DC. - Attend customer meetings as required and present appropriate technical information to operations, engineering, and plant management. - Identify unique market niches and product needs. - Drive introduction for new product initiatives (NPI s) and direct material productivity improvements (DMP). - Conduct regular technical training sessions with the commercial team to ensure technical competency. - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or a technical discipline. - Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience with chemical treatment within the Food and Beverage Industry and F&B and Process Water applications. - Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the working time. - Strong oral communication skills. Comfortable developing and delivering technical presentations to senior leaders at customer sites. - Strong written communication skills. Capable of writing technical documents and clearly conveying complex technical issues in a written format. - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing to meet business objectives. - Self-starter that can accept broad based assignments and work with limited direction from manager.
