For their HR department, based at Louvain-La-Neuve & Zaventem, AUSY is looking for a Payroll & Administration Specialist.


  • Your main responsibilities will be:



- Prepare input for monthly and yearly Payroll runs covering Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (white and blue collars) ;

- Perform payroll review and payroll closure for Salaried employees, Hourly paid employees and non-residents;

- Execute and document SOX controls as per Audit requirements;

- Calculate holiday entitlements and enter absences in the Time & Attendance system (Protime) according to Belgian legislation;

- Develop, execute and improve reporting as per legal requirements and/or business needs/requests;

- Provide support to managers and colleagues who are processing HR transactions in Workday via self-service and process HR transactions as needed;

- Resolve HR process and policy questions and colleague enquiries raised through multiple communication channels, escalating where appropriate;

- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and country social legislation & practices;

- Cooperate and coordinate with external payroll and benefits vendors, including submitting information and responding to vendor enquiries concerning payroll and/or benefits for assigned countries.

jouw aanbod

- You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree;

7+ years of relevant experience required (ideally multi-national/global);

- You are fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a serious asset;

- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and systems, HR administration and comp&ben administration;

- You have strong analytical skills, are detail-oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed team-based environment (subjet to changing priorities and short deadlines);

- You are a problem-solver, skilled in developing professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors and peers;

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and your customer service skills and abilities allow you to diffuse challenging situations.

- Proficient in Microsfot Office is required. Previous HRIS experience is an asset (Workday is a plus)

- You are team-spirited and continuous improvement is your way of thinking.
