Do you want to make a difference in the development and growth of a company, that is an ambitious industry leader? Than take a look at this vacancy!

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the launch, follow-up and sales of innovations in the premium biomedical area and other pharmaceutical or high-tech applications, developed by Rousselot's R&D department. You will be part of the commercial team of Rousselot, which consists of sales, business development, technical support, supply chain and marketing.

You will be responsible for the realization and follow-up of the business development objectives in the biomedical area and other pharmaceutical or high-tech applications, together with the Business Development Director, the R&D team and Marketing. You do so by executing the business development strategy and implementation of this strategy into action plans and by identifying, launching and selling profitable gelatin based technologies and products in biomedical markets, such as regenerative medicine field, injectables and hemostatic, as well as other pharmaceutical or high-tech applications that may be identified.

What do you need to be successful?

- a background in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences (or related)
- at least a first experience in business development / sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biomedical industry.
- a good knowledge of both Dutch and English
- willingness to travel 30% of the time in Europe and overseas.
- entrepreneurship, analytical capacity, result focused, cultivating & maintaining relationships and persuasion & influence.
