Testing is part of the development and validation process of the products, and will expose you to a dynamic environment where prioritisation and scheduling are key.
As a Test Coordination Engineer you manage the definition, preparation, and execution of various tests at the request of the development team. You are the main point of contact for the different teams involved (e.g. prototyping, instrumentation, test setup, and testing team) to develop plans to answer requests. As future planning and traceability are important aspects of testing, there is inevitable administration involved, being: a master schedule that you and your colleagues will manage.
You will be supported by colleagues in the same function to form a team and report to the Operational Lead of the Prototype, Testing, and Lab department.
Our ideal test Coordination Engineer, has the following profile:
> Strong interest in automotive technology and preferably a mechanical/electrical engineering background (by degree or experience). > A well structured planner and excellent communicator who takes the lead. > Experience in planning / coordination is required, by preference in automotive industry. > Full professional proficiency in English and Dutch. > MS Project familiarity is desired.
