The Market Operations Compliance & Control team is the critical second line of defense, managing controls over approximately 5,000 External and Intercompany Treasury Transactions per month across 16 key banking relationships. You will temporarily strengthen this team during a period of increased workload and reorganization, ensuring operational resilience and immediate support.

Critical Responsibilities & What You Will Deliver:

• Daily Compliance & Control Mastery: Perform rigorous daily control checks on the exhaustiveness, accuracy, and conformity of a wide range of Treasury Transactions (including MMF, deposits, bonds, commercial papers, FX spots/forwards/swaps, interest/cross-currency swaps, NDFs, etc.).

  • Ensure internal validation and strict adherence to the SOX control framework and organizational policies.

  • Verify Reciprocity with Counterparts according to contracts (ISDA, authorizations, etc.).

• Settlements and Operational Excellence: Manage and monitor the accurate and timely settlement of financial instruments, observing bank standing settlement instructions (SSI) and strict cut-off times, especially around monthly closing deadlines.

• Risk Mitigation: Conduct daily reporting and control of counterparty and financial instrument exposures, ensuring meticulous monitoring against defined limits.

• System & Audit Support: Support the setup and maintenance of Treasury Counterparts and SSIs within the Treasury Management System (TMS). Assist actively with internal and external audit processes.

• Reporting: Deliver monthly and ad hoc reports on Treasury activities.

We are seeking a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

Experience & Knowledge:

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Treasury (Back Office, Cash Management, In-House Bank, Treasury Accounting) within a multinational, Corporate Treasury, or Banking setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of treasury functions, debt capital markets, and complex financial instruments.

• Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance frameworks.

• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and a Treasury Management System (SAP, Others) is a distinct advantage.

• Experience with electronic banking systems / SWIFT / Payment Practices is a plus.

Education & Languages:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or similar.

• A certificate in Treasury is beneficial.

• Fluent in English and French is mandatory.

• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

• Analytically driven, adaptable, and a proactive problem-solver who excels in delivering against strict deadlines.

• Must be able to operate autonomously as a high-value contributor.

We offer a daily fee that is market-competitive for an assignment of this scope. Given the junior/medior profile sought for this position, the rate will reflect current market standards for professionals with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
