We are looking for an enthusiastic purchaser (Technical Buyer) who will be part of the Pharma Solids Compression Supply Chain Team and report to the Head of Procurement. You will be the competent intermediary between the supplier and the company. You will represents the company both internally and externally. An energetic and diplomatic approach as well as an analytical and critical attitude are important requirements for this function.

key responsibilities
- Understanding & analysing of technical drawings.
- Manage the buying process including sourcing planning, quotation process, negotiate contracts with specified target pricing, cost and delivery targets.
- Improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings, utilising negotiation & procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Expediting purchase orders to support fulfilment of production schedules and spare parts orders
- Align expectations with Mechanical Engineering, Project management and support Engineering / Production Team on new ideas & new developments
- Ensure Professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
qualifications
- You hold a bachelor´s degree
- You have a minimum of 3 years of professional and relevant experience
- You are a team player with a passion for techno-commercial affiliation
- You have a customer focus with an accurate & analytical approach
- You have a high value of quality and on time delivery commitment.
- You are fluent in English & French
- A knowledge of ERP (AS400) or SAP is a plus
