We are looking for a Services Buyer Consultant for one of our clients based in Chareleroi.

key responsibilities
Supplier relationship:
- Support global supplier panel relationship
- Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances) Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues Management of initial issues before escalation to line manage
- Respect the company’s code of ethics and guidelines
Commodity support on site:
- Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
- Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Provide imputes to build differentiation
- Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
- Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
- Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
- Apply the company’s Sourcing process, and provide return on experience.
Involvement in projects:
- Coordinate project with all Metiers
- Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
- Lead project negotiation
- Monitor sourcing project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
- Ensure work package sheet commitment respect
- Prepare Business Award Promoting the company’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
qualifications
Degree and experience:
- Educational Requirements: Business School or Engineering school (ideally Master in Purchasing)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in industry
- International background is a must
Languages:
- Fluent English
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Internal and external influencing skills
- Negotiation
- Teamwork
- Willingness to take initiative
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization
