We are looking for a scientist with experience culturing pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and using CRISPR genome editing technologies. The candidate will mainly support neuroscience drug discovery programs and will be involved in a pooled CRISPR screen with single cell RNA-sequencing read-out (Perturb-seq) in iPSC-derived neurons.

key responsibilities
- Cell line engineering using gene editing techniques (CRISPR/Cas systems)
- Standard cellular and molecular biological techniques, including transfections, viral transductions, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR), western blotting.
qualifications
- PhD in cell biology, molecular, genetics or related biological life sciences
- Experience with assay development and high-throughput screening
- Experience with single-cell RNA sequencing
- Background in neurodegenerative diseases
- 4+ years hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
