As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Parker site in Sprimont, with the aim of achieving the objectives identified in the WIN strategy: maximum safety, first-class customer service, profitable growth and financial performance. You will ensure that the business develops profitably and that the company continues to grow.
In concrete terms, your day-to-day work will revolve around the following key areas
You will be responsible for the safety and health of the people on the site by actively promoting Parker's corporate principles. The site's primary objective is zero accidents.
2/ Operational excellence
In order to achieve maximum operational efficiency, you will implement cost reduction and operational improvement programmes with a focus on reducing product complexity and economies of scale.
As a communicator, you have a transversal role among different departments (Production, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Marketing). As a conductor, you lead weekly meetings on the evolution of KPIs (in terms of safety, quality, lead time, cost and commitment). You will be the interface between the Sprimont site (with +/- 35 employees) and the management and transversal services located in England. You will also participate in weekly meetings.
4/ Financial management
You will be responsible for ensuring that the site's key performance indicators are respected by your teams and you will be responsible for regular reporting to the parent company.
5/ Human resources management
You will encourage staff commitment by stimulating their participation in improving safety, quality, deadlines and costs.
