key responsibilities
- First and foremost, you are responsible for the organization and correct execution of the payroll for McCain Belgium in consultation with the social secretariat. Additionally, You also offer support with Waregem HR file
- You act as the right hand of the HR Manager in Waregem and are responsible for daily operational support
- You are in charge of optimizing our ongoing digitalization process for all HR tools
- You are responsible for tracking absences and inputting medical certificates
- You handle the administrative follow-up of employee insurance
- You are responsible for preparing certain monthly reports, ad hoc reporting at the request of the HR Manager, and internal and external audits
- You oversee the onboarding of new employees
- You provide support in recruitment and selection
- You work closely with the HR Manager in Waregem on various HR projects
qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor's degree (Personnel Management, HR Management, Business Management, etc.)
- You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role as an HR Officer and experience working with a social secretariat
- You have knowledge of Dutch, English and French
- You have a good knowledge of social legislation and are willing to continuously educate yourself
- You work fluently with common MS Office applications
- You are very precise and have an analytical mind
- You are discreet and have an eye for detail You have insight into different processes and can work independently
