qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology, or equivalent through experience
- Good knowledge of and experience with aseptic and microbiological techniques
- Experience with GMP is an asset
- Meet high quality standards when executing experiments
- Efficient, flexible and dynamic. Capable of dealing with changes in the planning.
- Team player yet able to organize and execute the work independently
- Customer-focused and result-driven
- Demonstrate sense of urgency
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English
key responsibilities
- Microbiological testing for screening, CTA/IND, MAA/NDA stability studies and release testing of clinical batches:
- Microbial Purity testing of Drug Products and Drug Substances
- Bacterial endotoxin testing of Drug Products and Drug Substances
- Bioburden testing of IPC samples and toxicology samples
- Determination of water activity on solid SM dosage forms
- ID DRID and Dot Blot testing of large molecules
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP and safety.

The Microbiology Team is part of the Global Clinical Release and Stability (CRS) group which is a department within the R&D, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Development and Supply (CPDS), Analytical Development (AD) department of our client. The Microbiology Team in this department is responsible - amongst other aspects - for:

Development and GMP qualification of microbiology methods (Microbial Purity, Bacterial endotoxin, Sterility, …)
Execution of microbiological testing for screening, CTA/IND, MAA/NDA stability studies and release testing of clinical batches (small molecules and large molecules)
ID, DRID and Dot Blot testing of large molecules
