The person we are looking for will be responsible of the technical assessment and will have to identify the recommendation to be put in place to ensure the performance throught the entire asset’s lifecycle.
To strengthen our Asset Management Department, we are looking for a talentedindividual and self- motivated profile to fill theposition of Global Technical Assessment Lead (GTAL)for manufacturing equipment’s.
Our client is performing technical assessment for all equipment’s ofmanufacturing buildings. The goal of this project is to perform an assessmentmethodology ( based on obsolescence, cost evaluation, maintenance strategy andwork ordre, deviation analysis,…) in order to identify the recommendation to beput in place to ensure the performance throught the entire asset’s lifecycle.Those recommendation will be followed by the department with the Asset manager(in the same department).
In the position of GlobalTechnical Assessment Lead, you will be responsible of a technical assessment inclose relation with our third parties engineering office, to identify,quantify, summarize, propose remedial action, and manage the potential risks assets.
He/She will be accountable for:
- All steps of the technical assessment
1) Equipment criticality analysis
2) Inventory of all availabledatas
3) Obsolescence, technical, cost and compliance analysis
4) Conclusion and actionproposal (in alignmentand co-construct with the internalstakeholders)
- Scope of the assessment: (Braine/Belgium & Bulle /Switzerland- worldwide in the future)
Utilities and HVAC, including automation, IT,
§ Provides "hands-on” knowledge of equipment andable to interact in closecollaboration with Users (maintenance team, production team, productioncompliance & QA, etc.) to assess equipment health status and proper management.
§ Accountable and responsible to collect and analyze all the relevantdata within several systems( SAP, BI, Id card,….)in order to document and feed the asset management process and system
§ Thanks to its technical expertise & standards,can support, provide and consolidate technicalinformation for equipment(e.g., performances, process impact, obsolescence, etc.)
§ Support Asset Managerto define asset recommendations to maintain it in good condition until its estimated endof life, in relation to identified risks and gaps
§ Support Asset Managerfor internal processesdefinition, e.g., masterfile or methodologycreation/revision, obsolescence status revision, contract management, etc.
§ Contact & coordinating external suppliers on the shop floorfor asset management initiatives not covered by first Technical Assessment Program
§ Able to supportlocal entities in specific capabilities
§ Prepare and plantechnical assessments with the various stakeholders (technical experts, HSE, area managers, engineering and maintenance, external companies,etc.) and assure to cover all the scope of the project by orderingcomplementary studies if needed.
§ Manage the assessment teams (composed of External suppliersand our client’s internal
profiles) at different stagesof the whole process.
§ Coordinate the third partieson the shopfloor.
§ Understand expert’s report;Translate risks and remedial actionsby taking the lead of riskanalysis teams.
§ Identify the criticalrisks, and lead the different teams to take the immediate and conservatory actions (ex : safety of people, businesscontinuity, …)
§ Support the internalprocesses of identification, evaluation and risingofthe risks.
§ Consolidate/Resume the conclusion of the assessment in a finalreport (Excel
charts, Powerpoint presentation, resume, …)
§ Report the progress status of the technical assessment project (KPI, progress, success, issues, risks, etc.)
§ Consolidate and compile standardsinformation’s for equipmentas obsolescence, lifetime,amortization period, …
§ Review the process of technical assessment after each step by improving/adaptingcontinuously the way of working.
§ Collect and sortthe documentation and information necessary to establish the project files:offers, technical specifications, Analysis, technical documentation, HSE documentation, riskanalysis, reports, rationalize the actions plans, etc.

Minimum 8 years of experience in industry.
Minimum 5 of technical experience (e.g. Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Technical project, SME,… )
! Must have !
- experience in HVAC/Utilities with maintenance cap.
- Electro mechanical background.
- Experience within chemical, pharmaceutical or biotech company is required (pharma experience is a nice to have for this position not a must).
- Able to talk with a wide range of people (from a technician on the field to a manager).
- Be able to make recommendation (so wide expertise is a must).
- Easy with Microsoft office (Excel, etc).
- Master in data collection tools (SAP, BI,…) and basic skills in SAP.
- Someone who will be able to lead the assessment and chase for documentation.
- Be with solution minded
- PM skills is a must
- Ability to manage priorities
- Expertise in cGMP and HSE standards.
- Language: EN is a must ; FR is mandatory.
