Your function:

As Reporting Officer, you are responsible for the preparation and introduction of internal and external reporting in time and with the required quality. You will also assist in the implementation of projects mainly related to the evolutions of the IFRS standards and reporting in the accounting department. You will work within Accounting in the General Accounting and Consolidation team currently consisting of 6 people and will report directly to the Team Leader of this team. 

Your responsibilities : 

• Ensure the preparation of IFRS reporting packages to the group in a timely manner and with the required quality in the consolidation tool
• Analyse, test and implement new requirements and developments in IFRS group reporting      
• Ensure communication and coordination with the various stakeholders in group reporting, external parties         
• Participate in accounting closures (accounting, reconciliation, analysis, controls and reporting)
• Provide support to other teams in the Finance department in the development, testing and validation of the accounting part of business projects
• Analysis of current accounting processes in order to make recommendations and optimise current operations      
• Assist in the development of procedures for new accounting activities and tasks as well as the revision of existing procedures

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Economics or Commercial Engineering or equivalent through experience  
• Knowledge of accounting and financial standards (BeGAAP and IFRS)        
• Fluency in French or Dutch and a good knowledge of English
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills (out-of-the box thinking)     
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Your qualities are: organisational and planning skills, autonomy, solution oriented
• You are flexible, available and resistant to stress in the face of the very short reporting deadlines imposed by the Group
