As a Fibre Optical Expert, you have numerous responsibilities and tasks that make the job just that little bit more exciting now!

• You are a technical expert on fibre optics in your field to assist technicians and optical welders (internal and external).
• You provide remote and on-site support (included in the car policy).
• You maintain your knowledge of the materials, techniques and processes of all fibre projects.
• You participate in the preparation, supervision and follow-up of files relating to the construction of optical infrastructures in the public or private sector for our fibre-optic programmes.
• You control the execution of optical construction files and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• In case of network problems, you organise the localisation and repair of faults as soon as possible.
• You prepare the necessary documents in case of damage to the infrastructure.
• You can manage several projects simultaneously
• You are able to manage conflicts (clients, contractors, etc.)
• You contribute to the implementation of new procedures within local teams.

Who is a perfect fit for this position?

• You are qualified to act as quality and safety auditor (controller) and able to explain the correct way of working to contractors in the field (educator).
• You are VOL-VCA certified or willing to do so soon.
• You are bilingual NL/FR, or NL/EN, or FR/EN
• You are able to solve remote and on-site problems and defend your position.
• You have a driving licence B and can read plans
• You can write a clear and concise report
