• Analyze the product requirements and translate them into specifications and quality designs

• Support the software development life cycle and Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum with Continuous Integration

• Develop back-end logic and modern user interfaces

• Optimize execution, robustness, and use of system resources

• Be responsible for one or more software components

• Keep track of bugs and fix open issues

• Provide proficient documentation for the developed software modules

• Support the creation of realistic development plans by estimating the necessary amount of work and time

• Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s Agile project lifecycle

And just as you probably have special job needs, so do our client's needs for you: 

• Has hands-on mentality and is not afraid to get to know embedded hardware
• Holds a Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and working experience in software development
• Is a strong conceptual thinker and able to lift the discussion to the right level of abstraction
• Is attracted by system complexity and eager to find ways to get the related system quality under control
• Likes to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge
• Possesses analytical skills and eye for detail and quality
• Has at least 3 years of experience with C/C++, Object-oriented programming
• Has knowledge of:

1. Python for automated CI tests
2. Linux: Video4Linux, DBUS
3. Network protocols: SRTP, SAP/SDP, HTTPS, WebSocket
4. Source version control: git/svn
5. Build system: Buildroot, make/cmake/meson, Jenkins
6. Is communicative and assertive when required
7. Is fully conversational in English
