Our client is a large international organization active in the Tourism industry. Their IT environment is also large & complex (4000 websites online, hundred of applications, different systems depending on the regional hubs, 600 employees in the IT matrix...). As an Application Architect for CRM you will work with the different group solutions within the CRM space. The most important is the new platform that will be built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You will be part of the CRM Group Development Centre that delivers the needed expertise in all IT areas to support our clients Customer at the Heart strategy.

- You will focus both on the technical part of the implementation (application architecture, team code quality, etc.) and the overall landscape design, sometimes taking up the role as Solution Architect within projects.
- You will own the application architecture of our Group CRM Platform (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
- You will define the architectural approach for new projects and business as usual in the CRM space.
- You will work closely with enterprise, solution & other application architects and facilitate communication between them and the CRM development teams.
- You are responsible for delivering Low Level Design documents.
- You will assist solution architects during solution design and potentially pick up this role when needed as an extension to owning the CRM architectural landscape.
- You will conduct research on new technologies and recommend where/when to use them. In addition to this you will help define the technical roadmap.
- You will assist the development team in matters of code quality, maintainability, future proofing, resilience, etc. You will hold the governance for the non-functional performance of solutions and be proactive and intervene on breaches of non-functional requirements with direct analysis when needed.
- Validate and maintain the technical service designs (logical views).

your contribution

You have experience developing software in .NET & Javascript. Experience with other languages is a plus.
You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and know how to properly extend and customize it.
You have experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud solutions.
You know how to properly integrate systems.
You are passionate about Agile and having hands on experience with it.
You are able to tutor developers how to code and test code better if needed.
You have hands on experience with UML or other design methodologies.
You are able to translate functional requirements to simple deliverable (technical) solutions.
You have good written and verbal skills in Dutch & English.
You are able and willing to work together often with people based in other countries.
You are flexible and willing to travel occasionally to the UK, Germany, Sweden or other European countries.
You have a strong ability to solve problems and deliver technology/business solutions with an excellent breadth of thinking, able to provide pragmatic solutions that consider all relevant constraints whether technical, financial, organizational, risk, or capability based.
