Job purpose - To support in operational and administrative tasks in the business related to transport. - To be a point of coordination and contact for customers, hauliers, drivers, shipping departments and warehouse.
Main activities - Processing orders in relevant systems and update within the functions of transport planning - Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers - Support transport planning - Support daily planning of all customer orders, problem solving and order related demands - Follow-up on drivers / subcontractors - Flexible approach to the working hours to cover the role - Ensures that the company's activities are in accordance with the legal requirements and the standards specified by ISO and SQAS are maintained - To be available outside of normal working hours to colleagues, subcontractors & customers (1 week out of 4)
