Your tasks : 

•  Implementing minor and major changes to the mainly Siemens PLCs of the existing equipment within the deadline
• Troubleshooting in the PLC during technical breakdowns
• Assist with automation queries from other team members
• Perform and document root cause investigations in case of quality deviations
• Assist in analysing and implementing efficiency-enhancing projects
• Devise and work out process improvement projects as part of a team.
• Supervising external firms in connection with automation
• Proactively participate in the expansion of the new department.
• Review and optimise processes, flow charts, alarm lists, programme code etc ism the suppliers of our equipment.

Your profile : 

• Master's degree: industrial automation engineer or equivalent through experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA portal with emphasis on code language STL.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• 5 years' experience in a similar position
• Perfect command of Dutch and English
• Organised, accurate and able to work independently

Nice to have:

• Experience in a GMP environment
• Experience with SCADA (WinCC)
• Knowledge of standards: EN 60204, Machine directive 2006/42/EC, Low voltage directive, IEC 61512-1, ...
