As an Auditor, you will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive assessments to ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence within our facilities. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Execute the audit process effectively, taking into account audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
• Implement fieldwork at clients' sites and collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth audit process delivery.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues, delivering on-the-job training and fostering their familiarity with our audit methodology.
• Review the work of junior colleagues for sign-off by the Manager/Senior Manager.
• Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks such as BE GAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP, along with proficiency in related financial reporting matters.
• Utilize EY Global Audit Methodology to conduct assurance engagements in compliance with International Standards of Auditing (ISA) and/or US PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Identify areas for improvement in business processes, formulate recommendations, and present them in a comprehensive management letter to the client.
• Serve as a role model and contribute to the enhancement of effective teamwork.

• 3 to 5 years of external audit experience.
• Knowledge of Belgian and International accounting standards. Knowledge of US GAAP is considered an asset, though not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing, the ability to challenge assumptions, and confident presentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to verify, challenge, and interpret information used in financial statements and business data.
• Strong team player with exceptional coaching skills.
• Interest in innovative solutions and experience working in a digital audit environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Familiarity with safety report ISO 14001.
