What makes Randstad different from other companies? Our daily activities and concrete results are shaped by a special character and vision.

As an expert in the employment market, Randstad wants to be a leader and a driving force in bringing together people and organisations, on the basis of its innovative view of work. This mission statement means that we are determined to actively promote the interests of everyone involved in the employment process: temporary workers and businesses, our own staff, shareholders and other stakeholders such as ministries, trade unions and suppliers. To give all these groups the maximum satisfaction, we apply a number of corporate values.

Business philosophy
For us, doing business is a continuous process of interchange between business and society to the benefit of both. We therefore seek to serve the interests of each side equally. We work to build mutual relationships of trust, become thoroughly acquainted with the needs of everyone concerned and strive to offer top-quality service. This approach is summed up in the motto "to know, serve and trust".

Independent accreditation
Our ethical approach is confirmed by the SA 8000 certificate (Dutch, French), which we were the first business in Belgium to gain. SA 8000 is the international standard for doing company ethically. It proves that we work in line with a series of basic requirements about child labour, forced labour, health, safety, trade union rights, discrimination, working hours, pay and communication.
